Took this to City+ (A short bit after first crack completes) and could pick up on the pear and floral notes that CBC used in their description. Not to be confused with "brightness" which refers to the acidity of a bean, I personally use a more artistic-ish meaning of dark vs. light with the flavor itself. This one definitely was on the lighter side of the flavor wheel (as opposed to "darker" flavors such as plum, berry, overripe peach, etc.)
The result was pretty much the same regardless of brewing method. (Americano, Chemex, AeorPress, Flat White) Overall, I was expecting the overall potency of the flavor and the sweetness itself to make this coffee very interesting not only because it is an Ethiopian, but due to the highest CBC rating of 7 in the sweetness category. (Most Ethiopians I have are natural though, adding the typical funk/interest to the cup, so maybe this washed example is what made the difference for me?) I actually agree with Dylan Manning's review (below) in that I would give this coffee a 3.5. Since he gave it a four, I gave it a three so that the average between us would be 3.5. (lol)
Don't get me wrong, this was a decent coffee and the milk/espresso method (Flat White in my case) was the most enjoyable of them all. Brought out the florals a bit more by muting the pear note.

A lot of people rave over Misty Valley but I found this Yirgacheffe region to be a great tasting coffee. It's just smooth like I like it. I roast it just past first crack between 390 and 400 degrees. I prefer it over Misty Valley but then everyone's taste is a little different. This is one of my go to coffees.

Very good as a light roast for Ibrik style coffee.

I gave it 4 stars, but i would have preferred to give it a 3.5.
Definitely has a unique flavor, but I did not get the sweetness I expected from an Ethiopian.
Above average, but I have been so spoiled by Misty Valley, Kayon Mtn, that it is hard to beat those flavors. I also recommend Durato Bombe.
Good but not great. If CBC didn't have so many great flavors I'd definitely be buying this again.

Really clean, crisp coffee. I really got the floral and pineapple notes in the aroma and taste with the plum notes more so in the body. Really awesome coffee!
