Tried roasting this bean in 3 different roast. Light roast just after first crack had a floral almost tea taste. Medium roast had a fruity flavor and the third roast 40 seconds after 2nd crack was best to me. It was smooth and just a good classic taste. Roasted in a behmor 1600 plus.

Strong. Smooth. Syrupy. Classic coffee taste. Great crema as an espresso.

I roast this one to 145F in my Behmore and it has become my all- time favorite. Very well balanced with just the right amount of acid to bring it to life. Spicy with great chocolate flavors. I highly recommend this one!

Much lighter than I expected based on the Matrix. I roasted it to City Brew, maybe I'll try it past second crack as recommended by others. It's okay, but doesn't live up to the expectations.

Excellent! Very smooth with good sweetness. Almonds are prevalent. Medium roast is the best.

Thank you Coffee Bean Corral. From around 2000-2007, Blue de Brasil was a favorite coffee of mine. And then it disappeared. It is great to see it back, albeit with a slightly different name. It is still the same color and great taste. I like it best just past a full city roast. I have had several people accuse me of adding some chocolate to the cup.

Was a bit lighter than I was expecting for a blue.. but still a good cup of joe.

The raw beans really are blue. I roasted them to medium-dark. On my roaster, that's 12 minutes at 200 C, and then five minutes at 240 C. I brewed it in my Bialetti and shared it with two of my friends/test subjects. It yielded a rich smooth arabica flavor with notes of spicy chocolate. The consensus was that it was absolutely delicious. You DON'T want to miss out on this selection!
In designing my label, I searched the internet for a picture of a chocolate bar.

Now, what do I do with all the other coffee you've sold me? This one just blew the doors off. Independent source, no blending necessary or desired. Really nice coffee. Any danger of seasonally running out of it?

Very smooth, roasted to full city in a gene cafe.
Used for espresso, in rancillio Silvia. Produced rich crema.

Good flavor, great mixture of nuttiness/fruitiness. Medium roasted with a Behmor and brewed in a french press. Makes a great morning cup of coffee

Makes for a smooth cup of coffee. This was our first attempt at roasting at home (using a whirley pop) and we call it a success. Did a medium roast as that's our normal preference. Good classic coffee flavor with hints of chocolate and sweetness as drip, pour over, and espresso.

Likes to be roasted a little on the light side. But can also work for a darker roast for espresso. Overall very good

Obviously a very high quality bean, makes a very nice, classic tasting espresso all by itself, or can function as an excellent base for blending.

Roasted to just before second crack and totally enjoyed the classic taste with a hint of almond and chocolate. This is definitely a favorite!

A very tasty classic coffee. My NESCO roaster is set on 25 for a perfect dark roast. The thing is piping hot or counter cold this is really good.
